Join ANG
Open to every enrolled Ashoka student.
ANG does not restrict membership to students from family business backgrounds. If you are curious about family enterprise, succession, governance, stewardship, or Indian business leadership, you belong here. ANG is also for students who want to start their own multigenerational or traditional businesses in this day and age, and want to think carefully about how such institutions can be built to last.
How it works
Participation-based, not tier-based.
A member is active in any semester by attending at least two club events, or participating meaningfully in one programme, workshop, or initiative. Active membership gives you voting rights and eligibility to stand for leadership roles. There are no fees, no applications, and no prerequisites.
No fees
ANG is self-funded. Membership is free for every enrolled Ashoka student.
No prerequisites
No family business background required. No applications, interviews, or shortlists.
Real standing
Active members vote in elections and can stand for leadership, including Vertical Head roles.

I have no doubt whatsoever that the next generation of leaders will further enrich this precious legacy.
Membership FAQ

Any enrolled Ashoka student, regardless of background, discipline, or year.

Is there a membership fee?
No. ANG is self-funded and membership is free.
What does active membership mean?
Attending at least two events or meaningfully participating in one programme per semester.
